Spring Start-Up

Spring activation with us ensures your evaporative cooler is clean and ready for peak performance. This includes attaching the water supply line, a full system inspection, pad condition, pump function, motor check, belt adjustment, bearing lubrication and verification of proper functionality while running.   If components are found to need replacement or repair, most can be done same day. 

Summer Maintenance

Evaporative coolers run best and last longer with proper maintenance.  Mid-summer is the best time to do this.  This service call includes-  cleaning and draining of pan and its water, filling with fresh water, adding deoderizer or scale inhibitors as needed, checking pad quality, oil bearings, adjusting belt as needed. 

Winterization (Shut-Down)

 A thorough end-of-season shutdown that protects your system during freezing weather. Services include disconnecting, draining and clearing all water lines, cleaning and draining the pan, and installing a cover it you desire.

Is your cooler blowing hot air?  


First place to check is the water supply line.   Is it leaking, has the spigot been turned off. If the cooler doesnt have water it cannot cool your home.  If the this is on check next.

After checking the supply line, is your cooler still blowing hot air?  


Check to make sure the pump is functioning properly and the hose is connected to the water distribution on top.   
FYI- Humidity levels can increase temps. Always plan on the cooler decreasing temps in the home by 10-15 degrees.

Is your cooler not blowing?  


Check that the belt has not broken.  If the belt is intact check the breaker has not tripped.  If all is in good repair than a motor would be the next thing to replace.
